Wonderful West Virginia Magazine
The state’s premier showpiece magazine, Wonderful West Virginia is published monthly by the Division of Natural Resources. The magazine showcases “the best of West Virginia” with breath-taking photographs and intriguing articles about nature, state history, recreation, art, and interesting people.
Wildlife Calendar
Keep up with hunting seasons, fishing opportunities and wildlife in the Mountain State. This amazing calendar with original artwork sells for $15 (plus tax & shipping) and helps fund wildlife conservation in West Virginia.
Classroom Resources
The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) has many instructional materials and learning opportunities available for teachers to use both in and out of the classroom. Students and teachers alike will enjoy these Almost Heaven educational tools.
Disability Services
Class Q Hunting
The Class Q (resident) and Class QQ (non-resident) hunting program offers expanded vehicular public land access and special hunting seasons to physically challenged hunters who meet application requirements established in West Virginia Chapter 20 natural resources laws. This program originated as a partnership between the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, the Monongahela National Forest and the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.
Class Q Fishing
The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources makes every effort to provide opportunities for all constituents to participate in activities involving the state’s natural resources, which includes establishing unique angling opportunities for children and individuals with disabilities.
National Center for Accessibility
Located at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, the National Center for Accessibility provides resources to state and federal parks systems and other public and non-profit organizations to make facilities accessible to people with disabilities.
