Lewis Wetzel WMA * Location: Wetzel County − county Route 82 (Buffalo Run Road) four miles south of Jacksonburg Hours: 9 am to Sunset Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with six covered shooting benches |
Moundsville Location: Marshall County – 77 Northern Regional Correctional Drive, Moundsville. The range is located at the end of 12th Street next to the Northern Regional Jail (small stone building on drive back to NRJ. Hours: Open to the public during limited hours (small fee required) Indoor Shooting and Archery Range: Limited hours open to the public (small fee) Archery Range: 58-foot maximum target distance. Open seasonally. Pedlar WMA * Location: Monongalia County − take I-79 exit 155 and turn east on county Route 19/24 toward Morgantown. Turn left onto state Route 7 and follow for approximately seven miles. Shooting range is at Mason Lake on the left of state Route 7 about a one-half mile past Core. Hours: Range closed until further notice Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with eight covered shooting benches. |
Pleasants Creek WMA * Location: Barbour County − approximately one mile on county Route 10 (Pleasant Creek Road) off U.S. Routes 119/250; six miles north of Philippi. Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to Sunset and Sunday, 1 p.m. to Sunset Outdoor Range: 200-yard maximum backstop distance with eight covered shooting benches. |
White Horse Center Location: Barbour County − approximately 10 miles north of Buckhannon off of state Route 20 on state Route 20/3 (Crouse Road) south of Peeltree. Hours: April 1 – October 15, Wednesday – Sunday, 12-8 p.m. October 16 – December 23 and December 29-31, Wednesday – Sunday, 12-5 p.m. Closed: Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day and Thanksgiving. Sleepy Creek WMA Location: Berkeley County − Third Hill Mountain Road off county Route 826, 1.5 miles north of county Route 7/13. Outdoor Range: Shotguns only (no slugs allowed). |

Stonewall Jackson Lake WMA * Location: Lewis County − just off U.S. Route 19 on Overlook Road, three miles east of I-79 (exit 91). Outdoor Range: 300-yard maximum backstop distance with 10 covered shooting benches. |

Montgomery * Location: Fayette County − south of Montgomery off state Route 61 approximately one mile on county Route 61/10 (Morris Drive) approximately one mile. Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with eight covered shooting benches. |
Panther WMA Location: McDowell County − from the town of Panther, take county Routes 3/1 to county route 3/2. The range is situated approximately 1.5 miles past the park headquarters. Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with five covered shooting benches. |
Plum Orchard Lake WMA * Location: Fayette County – From the West Virginia Turnpike (I-77), take the Pax or Mossy interchange and follow state Route 23 and county Route 23/1. From U.S. Route 19, take state Route 612 from Oak Hill to Mossy, then state Route 23 and county Route 23/1. Outdoor Range: 175-yard maximum backstop distance with six covered shooting benches. |
R.D. Bailey WMA * Location: Wyoming County – From U.S. Route 97 near Baileysville, take state Route 97 west approximately two miles to the range on the left. Outdoor Range: 200-yard maximum backstop distance with six covered shooting benches. |

Chief Cornstalk WMA * Location: Mason County − on county Route 40 (Cornstalk Road) off U.S. Route 35 near Beech Hill (follow the WMA signs). Outdoor Range: 200-yard maximum backstop distance with eight covered shooting benches. |
Chief Logan WMA * Location: Logan County – take exit for Chief Logan Lodge and Convention Center off Route 119. Drive about 300 yards and turn left onto gravel road. Range is approximately 1.5 miles at the end of road. Outdoor Range: 10 positions with 25 yard, 50 yard and 100 yard targets. |
Kanawha State Forest * Location: Kanawha County − seven miles south of Charleston on Davis Creek just off county Route 23. Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with 11 covered shooting benches. |
McClintic WMA * Location: Mason County − north of Point Pleasant on state Route 62. Turn onto Potter’s Creek Road (county Road 11), drive approximately 1.75 miles to parking lot. Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with eight covered shooting benches. |

Elizabeth Location: Wirt County − approximately one-half mile south of Elizabeth on county Route 1 (Tuckers Creek Road). Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with five covered shooting benches. |
Frozen Camp WMA * Location: Jackson County − approximately seven miles east of Ripley on state Route 33, then approximately 2.5 miles south on county Route 28. Outdoor Range: 200-yard maximum backstop distance with eight covered shooting benches. |
Glenville Location: Gilmer County − one mile north of Glenville off state Route 5 on state Route 35/15 (Sycamore Run Road) near the Gilmer County Recreation Center. Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with seven covered shooting benches. Pistol/Rimfire Range: 50-yard with eight covered shooting benches. |
Tracy Lake Location: Ritchie County − Approximately three miles north of Pennsboro on county Route 50/22. Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with four covered shooting benches. |
Wallback WMA * Location: Clay County − I-79 exit 34, turn right on state Route 36 for approximately 1/4 mile, turn left onto county Route 34 (Summers Fork Road), go approximately 1/4 mile and turn left at county Route 36/21 and drive approximately 2 miles to range. Outdoor Range: 100-yard maximum backstop distance with eight covered shooting benches. |
