Fishing area closure at London Lock and Dam is expected to last until September 2023.

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Due to a construction project at the London Lock and Dam on the Kanawha River in Kanawha County, American Electric Power has shut down public access to the fishing area at the base of the dam.

AEP expects the construction project to be completed in September 2023 and the fishing area will be reopened once work is completed.
