News Release: April 27, 2021

SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV — The West Virginia Natural Resources Commission will hold its next quarterly meeting on Sunday, May 2, beginning at 1 p.m. at Cacapon Resort State Park in Berkeley Springs. A live stream of the meeting will also be available.

The meeting is open to the public and those attending in person will have an opportunity to make comments. COVID-19 safety guidelines must be followed, including face masks and physical distancing. Anyone not attending the meeting in person may submit written comments by the deadline of 5 p.m. on April 29.

The live stream of the meeting will be posted to the West Virginia Department of Commerce’s YouTube channel and will be accessible on WVDNR’s Facebook page. A call-in option will also be available by dialing 681-245-6817 and entering this Conference ID: 859 943 574#

If not attending in person, members of the public who wish to submit comments must follow the following guidelines.

  • All comments must be provided in writing and include the name of the person submitting the comment, the city and state where they reside and any organization the individual is representing.
  • Typed comments are the preferred method of comment submission.
  • Typed comments may not exceed one standard 8.5-inch by 11-inch page in length.
  • All typed comments should be in 12-point Times New Roman font with page margins no smaller than one inch on all sides.
  • Handwritten comments are acceptable but must be legible and limited to no more than one side of a standard 8.5-inch by 11-inch piece of paper.
