How To Participate

Entering the Big Buck Photo Contest is easy! All you must do is take a photo of you and the buck you harvested during the 2023 hunting season, write a short account of your hunt and upload the photo to the Big Buck Photo Contest entry form. Winners will be selected and announced in January 2024.

Contest Prizes

Enter the Big Buck Photo Contest and you could win an incredible prize! From lifetime West Virginia hunting licenses to West Virginia State Park stays, don’t miss out on the chance to win one of these prizes.

Know Before You Go

Before the season kicks off, be sure to snag your hunting license and review the contest rules. Don’t forget, you must have a valid 2023 West Virginia Hunting License to participate and will need to enter the 13-digit DNR-issued game check number for your buck.
